Using a dia. 3 mm bit, drill holes in the two places indicated by arrows in photo 7.6 (photo 7.7).
(Note: Hold the servo horn firmly in place while drilling.)
7.2. Adjusting the Servo Sensor
Here we explain how to adjust the servo if it cannot turn 90 degrees to both the right and left. The servo motor can
rotate over a range of about 270 degrees. Fine adjustment must be performed in software, but here we will show
you how to adjust the sensor so the servo can physically turn about the same amount to the right and left.

Place the servo horn on the servo motor as shown in photo 7.10.
Note: Do not secure it with the screw.
Turn the servo horn counterclockwise as far as it will go.
The servo is now stopped in the position shown in photo 7.11.
Note: This position will differ from case to case.
Remove the servo horn. Then replace the servo horn in the
orientation shown in photo 7.12.
This completes the adjustment to enable the servo horn to turn 90
degrees to the right and left, as shown in photo 7.8.
Remove the
servo horn.
Replace the
servo horn.

Confirm that the servo horn can turn about 90
degrees to the right and to the left.

Once you have confirmed that it can turn 90 degrees
to the right and left, secure the servo horn in place
with the screw you removed earlier.
Turn counterclockwise
as far as it will go.
